These shields ‘fill the gap’ from having our Traditional shields, they are a similar physical size and share some elements of the traditional shields. The same level of care and attention to detail can be found on these shields.

This class of shield is intended for decoration, light combat and Cosplay type activities, they are not intended for any form of serious combat.

Made from a combination of 7mm thick Pine / Spruce wood. They feature a full-length handle, strengthening bars and a 3D printed centre shield boss. Decorative ‘bolts’ complete the finished look.

Each shield has the new feature of a pair of carrying strap attachment points on the main handle (carrying straps are made from leather and use a toggle system for quick release – no press studs or modern belt buckles here!)

Each design is hand drawn and painted.

A range of designs are able to be produced including your own custom designs.
