My focus comes from historical inspiration, our ‘Viking’ products come with an enthusiasts mind set. Thus giving you an experience from the ‘Viking Age’ with every one of our products.
Everything is handcrafted by me, care and attention to detail is highly important when creating these products for our customers. I produce a range of items, these include Viking Age shields, Rune sets and Hnefatafl game boards.
I incorporate a mixture of wood turning and traditional wood working within the items I produce.
While research into history is important in developing a new product I do make some concessions to enable all of the products to be used within ‘the modern world’.
(traditional hide glues are replaced with modern weather resistant glues, power tools in place of all hand tools)
In conclusion the products from this range are intended to be both aesthetically pleasing as well as practical where appropriate, keeping the ‘Viking Age’ alive.
